School farm of the Secondary Agricultural School, Písek,

Czech Republic

The farm (330 ha of agriculture land) serves for the

development of professional knowledge and skills of

students of Agribusiness with a focus on Agricultural

Operations, Horse Breeding and Agroecology and Ecology

and the Environment focusing on Landscape Restoration

and Animal and Plant Protection.

A great emphasis is placed on ecological principles and

putting these principles into practice.

The pupils themselves get involved in ecological projects

and actively contribute to their implementation. One
example is the establishment of a biocorridor in the place of Photo: Pupils are establishing the biocorridor

a draw on land adjacent to the farm.
